My name is John. On January 23, 2012 I decided to change my life by losing weight and living a healthier life. Since then I've lost over 75 lbs, discovered the joy of running, and changed how I see and eat food.

April Fitness Photo Challenge Day 3 - Water
Okay, it’s not a photo of water, but it’s a photo of my water bottle. I drink water out of this bottle 90% of the time. It’s a HydroFlask, and while I got it as a gift I would not hesitate to spend the $25 it cost.
It’s an amazing water bottle. It’s made out of stainless steel, so there’s no chemicals leaching from questionable plastics, and it’s double walled and insulated, so that it keeps cold liquid cold or hot liquid hot. And it REALLY works. I’ve filled it up with cold water and put a bunch of ice cubes in it, left it in my car all day, in the miserably hot Texas heat, and at the end of the day it STILL has ice cubes in it. They also have a lifetime warranty, but it doesn’t cover the dents that I put in it haha.
Anyways, I hate drinking room temperature water, so this bottle was a lifesaver for me getting my water in daily. The best part is that this particular bottle is 24 oz (they have different sizes), so if I drink just two of these a day I meet my 6 8 oz glasses of water requirement for Weight Watchers.
